Welcome

The NECA organization is a unique one, employing only the highest-skilled, best-trained electricians in the industry.

Most Important tasks concerning the electrical industry:

  1. Continuing education and certifications of Journeyman Wireman in an ever changing industry with the newest technologies.
  2. Adapt and develop Apprenticeship training programs to reflect the demands of today and meet the customer’s needs.
  3. Retain the workforce to ensure the high standard of craftsmanship is sustained throughout the region.

We accomplish this through the IBEW’s Code of Excellence and the NJATC’s mission of developing and standardizing training to provide the electrical construction industry with the most highly trained and highly skilled workforce possible.

The Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Program (EJATC) makes this superior level of craftsmanship possible.  It is a jointly funded training program offered through both the Northern New York Chapter of NECA and it's local union, IBEW Local 910, located in Watertown, New York. The program ensures all of its electricians utilize both classroom instruction and on-site application -- delivering an unmatched level of training found nowhere else in the electrical industry.

Indeed, we are proud to say: NECA/IBEW tradesman are highly skilled electricians delivering...work that is done on time ...on budget, and done right the first time!
